Having the exact birthday party supplies can make or break an event.This is true especially if you have a kid. Everything has to be Perfect. You have to have the perfect goody bags, the perfect ice cream, the perfect decorations, and most importantly, the birthday cake. Finding the right birthday cake isn't as easy as it used to be. Nowadays, people are so health-conscious that it is often hard to find something that everyone can agrees with. Nonetheless, my daughter picks out what she wants. After all, it's her birthday, one time of year where everyone celebrates her. She should have a choice of how it is to be done.

Creating Birthday Party Invitations

This year, she even did the birthday greeting cards herself. We had just gotten back from the store where we were checking out birthday cakes, and she announced that she wanted to do her own birthday invitations. I was skeptical at first. My daughter is quite a creative girl, but she is not that organized, and she doesn't have much of a sense of follow through. Oftentimes, she begins a project only to leave it forgotten and unfinished. I thought that this would be the case with the birthday invites, but I let her run a risk and try it. I figured that we still had enough time to send out store-bought ones if she did not finish in time.

It turns out that the birthday invites were amazing. She had particularly loved the way the birthday cake she picked out looked. It was covered with My Little ponies, and beautifully designed. She drew it on the birthday invitations, showing everyone that, if they attend to her party, they would have a big piece of my Little pony birthday cake. Needless to say, her idea worked perfectly. Every single one of her friends appeared on her birthday celebration.

It was not one of the best birthday cakes she ever got. It was a simple yellow cake, and nothing special. Nevertheless, my little girl is at that age when the most important thing is frosting. The little pony birthday cake had frosting in abundance. It even have little ice cream cones filled up with frosting in different attractive colors. The letters were made of candy, and almost everything on the cake was edible besides the candles and the My Little Ponies. All in all, everybody enjoyed eating all the sugar they could.
